There's nothing more frustrating than placing an order for a new pair of frames and finding that the prescription seems to be distorted!
In fact, to preempt this problem from happening, it's always a good idea to send a copy of your prescription to us after you place your order by emailing help@ezcontacts.com, so we can verify that all of the information was inputted correctly.
The best place to start if you find that your glasses are blurry upon receiving them is to make sure to verify that the prescription information on the order matches exactly what your doctor prescribed. It's not uncommon for a digit to be transposed or a positive number to be selected instead of a negative one.
If the prescription matches, we recommend allowing one week for your eyes to adjust to the new lenses. Even if your prescription is unchanged, the curvature of the new lenses may be different than your previous pair's due to the shape of the new frame. Most of the time, as your eyes gradually adjust to the new frame and lenses, any discomfort will disappear.
If you are still experiencing distortion after wearing your new frames for a week, please notify us by emailing help@ezcontacts.com and we will be happy to replace, refund, or repair your frames for you!
